Sir, Here is a tip for parents and teachers on this Children’s Day — Ignite the talent in your child. Yes, it is our responsibility, as talent is inborn, a natural aptitude whereas skills are acquired. They are trainable and it’s a learned competence. So, be sensitive and understand that each child is an individual and is gifted with a talent. An opportunity to air out that talent is in our hands. This is not an easy task. It involves a lot of patience, time and effort. But the end result is so wonderful that the joy it emits is worth all the trouble. Teachers with their creativity, activity-based classroom teaching, can make it possible for each child to function at his/her own level. Wishing all our children, Happy Children’s Day. May they enjoy a healthy, happy and a hearty year ahead.
