A cross country/mountain biking, cycle race was jointly organised by Cyclopedia, Mysuru District Cycling Association and a private firm, at Lalitha Mahal Helipad in city this morning. City Police Commissioner A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao flagged of the event. The race was conducted in the following categories — 1) Kids – below 11 years (for both boys & girls for which the presence of parents during the race is compulsory) (2 km), 2) U-18 (20 km), 3) Amateur Men (28 km), 4) Elite Men (35 km), 5) Women. (10 km), 6) Gravel (only for Men) (17 km).
