Indiscriminate dumping of garbage near Rajiv Gandhi Park at Azeez Sait Nagar is causing a lot of problems to the residents living in the surroundings as the garbage is not being cleared regularly resulting in foul smell emanating from it and also increase in flies and mosquitoes. Also, plastic covers and other plastic materials which are being dumped, are being consumed by the cattle, posing health hazard to them. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the garbage cleared and also penalise those who are found dumping wastes in public places.
