Garbage and waste, which are being dumped near Hardwicke Boarding Home in Lakshmipuram, is set of fire resulting in thick smoke engulfing the area. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to the public as well as to the residents and boarding inmates. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to prevent burning of garbage by imposing hefty penalty on those found setting fire to garbage piles in public.
