The Department of Medicine, Sigma Hospital, Saraswathipuram, conducted a free health camp related to prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases in the hospital premises on Sunday. A total of 225 patients were examined for sugar, BMI, BP, BMD and they were advised regarding further management. Along with diet counselling, the participants were advised regular follow up for diabetic control and prevention of strict diabetic related complications.
