Theatre personalities Mime Ramesh (Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee) and Dr. H. Janardhan (Music University’s Hon. Doctorate recipient) were felicitated during the World Theatre Day celebrations, organised jointly by Karnataka Nataka Academy, Bengaluru, Mysuru District Amateur Theatre Artistes Forum and Ayama Rangatanda Trust, at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Mar. 27. They are seen with (standing from left) Forum EC Member P. Nagabhushan, Treasurer Abdul Kareem, Natya Vidushi Dr. S.V. Shambhavi Swamy, former Nataka Academy Member B.M. Ramachandra, Forum President Rajesh H. Talakad, Charu Samskrutika Pratishtana President D. Sheelakumari and Forum Secretary M.P. Haridutta. On the occasion, P. Lankesh’s play ‘T. Prasannana Grihasthashrama’ was staged by Ayama Rangatanda, Mysuru. The play was directed by Nagarjuna Aradhya.
