Prof. Noor Ahmed Khan, Professor & HoD of Chemistry (retd.), Sarda Vilas College, was the chief guest, during the Teachers Day celebrations held at Farooqia PU College in Tilak Nagar. Taj Mohammed Khan, Hon. Secretary, Rifahul Muslimeen Educational Trust, was the guest of honour. The function was presided over by Prof. Riyaz Ahmed. On this occasion Professor Noor Ahmed Khan was felicitated in recognition of his outstanding services to society and cause of education. Prof. M. Sayeed Ahmed, Hon. Secretary of the College, spoke about Prof. Noor Ahmed Khan. Syed Mushahir Hassan presented ‘Mohammed Azeezulla Sharieff Memorial cash prizes’ to R.H. Basha and Sadiya Ghazala for excellent results in II PUC Examination in their respective subjects. The function commenced with Qirath by Mohammed Bilal Pasha. Umme Hani welcomed the gathering. Anam Fathima Naseem rendered a speech on importance of Teachers Day. The function concluded with vote of thanks by Saima Iram.
