An electric pole opposite Vidyaranyapuram Park has live exposed wires. These two wires when joined switches on the street-lights in the area. This pole is just half-a-km away from CESC opposite Sterling Theatre and is on a busy road which leads to St. Thomas School, hardly 50 meters away. So there are chances that children happen to accidentally touch the wires. Is CESC so poor that it cannot afford switches for street-lights ? asks SOM reader E.Venkatesh, who has forwarded this image to the eveninger.
