Dying saplings at Oval Grounds

About two dozen saplings that are yet to be planted are dying without water since 20 days in University’s Oval Grounds. One of the SOM readers, who has sent the photograph said that “It is impossible to believe that an institution like the University of Mysore is neglecting planting of saplings besides allowing it to die without water. Who is responsible for this deed?” Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to plant the saplings at the earliest or at least water the saplings till the planting is done.
