Opposing the implementation of the amended Land Reforms Act and condemning the act of miscreants who had vandalised Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s house ‘Rajgruha’ in Mumbai recently, about 100 people under the banner of Dalita Sangarsha Samithi (DSS) staged a protest near Deputy Commissioner’s Office this morning. The agitators urged the State Government not to implement the amended Land Reforms Act besides urging the Maharashtra Government to arrest the miscreants, who had vandalised ‘Rajgruha’ under the Goonda Act.
