Defunct drinking water unit atop Chamundi Hill

The drinking water unit installed atop Chamundi Hill near the temple for the benefit of devotees and tourists has stopped functioning causing a lot of inconvenience especially during summer. One of SOM readers, who sent his photograph, said that he has been checking for the availability of drinking water since a month and there was no water every time he checked. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to provide drinking water for the benefit of all.
