Defeating the cold

Winter's icy embrace is getting longer in Mysuru and there is only one sure-fire way to beat back the cold — A seat in front of a roaring fireplace. Star of Mysore photographer M.N. Lakshminarayana Yadav captures some warm moments at a camp fire near Bogadi Road this morning. The minimum temperature is hovering between 15 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius these days. Thanks to climate change, the cold season that usually gives a break from Sankranthi has not ceased yet. Spotting the fireplace at Bogadi, a few bikers too took a pit stop warmed their hands before proceeding further.
