The University of Mysore (UoM) which is conducting flower shows during Dasara from the last 13 years has also made preparations to conduct the show in a grand manner on Kukkarahalli Tank Bund. Speaking to Star of Mysore, Registrar Prof. R. Rajanna said the University has decided to keep more than 7,000 decorative flower pots of 40 species notably Zarbera, Lilius, Spray Chrysanthemum, Petunia, Cockscomb,French Marigold and other species. Entry will be free where visitors can take a glimpse of flowers, exotic plants. Flower variety pots will be kept for public viewing on both Eastern and Western side gate of the tank bund.
