A portion of the road adjacent to a drain behind Quba Masjid in Udayagiri which caved-in a few months ago is left neglected and is posing danger to the residents as well as motorists. Residents said that despite repeated pleas to the authorities concerned, no action has been taken till date. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to construct a wall for the drain and prevent any untoward incidents in future as monsoon has set in.
