Clogged manhole forces sewage water into house at Kalyanagiri

A clogged manhole on 3rd Main Road, 5th Cross, 4th Stage, Kalyanagiri, is sending back sewage water into House No. 139 causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents who have to bear the foul smell since about 15 days. Residents say that despite lodging complaints and repeated requests to the officials concerned, their pleas have fallen on deaf years. This apart, sewage water is getting collected in front of houses making small pools of sewage water, thus emanating foul smell. There is also an increase in mosquitoes in the vicinity. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the manhole cleared at the earliest.
