A drain, located on the 4th Main 12th Cross on Kamakshi Hospital Road in Saraswathipuram, is filled with overgrown bushes and weeds, hindering the smooth flow of sewage water which is getting stagnated. This is emanating foul smell and has become a perfect place for mosquitoes to breed besides making a safe haven for rodents and snakes. Residents have alleged that though several complaints were made to the MCC, no action has been taken to clean the drain so far. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the drain cleaned at the earliest.
