Morning and evening walkers at Lingambudhi Lake are greeted with stinking garbage which is not cleared since many days resulting in foul smell emanating from it. This apart, there has been an increase in mosquitoes and flies in the surroundings, which has to be controlled. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the garbage cleared at the earliest and prevent people from dumping garbage in the lake area.
