Parthenium plants grown abundantly in a vacant site at Madhuvana Layout in Srirampura 3rd Stage is causing allergy to the residents living close to the site. Residents say that the site is vacant for more than 22 years and the overgrown parthenium weeds is also providing shelter to snakes and rodents. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the weeds cleared at the earliest.
