Wastes from chicken meat shops and hotels are being dumped on the side of the Service Road near PKV Acharya Kalyana Mantap at Kanakadasanagar in Dattagalli. This waste is emanating unbearable stench forcing passersby to cover their nose besides polluting the environment. Residents said that the stench becomes unbearable especially during rains forcing them to close the windows for days till the stench subsides. Residents have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to get the wastes cleared and prevent people from dumping wastes in future.
