Dr. T.S. Jagadeesh Kumar, Assistant Professor (Stage 3), Silkworm Physiology & Biochemistry Lab, DOS in Sericulture Science at the University of Mysore has bagged the ‘Scientist of the Year- 2017’ award for his scientific outstanding contributions and as well as academic credentials in the field of the Silkworm Physiology and Biochemistry carried out from the past 17 years in the University of Mysore, Mysuru. He is seen receiving the award from Dr. Tridib Bandopadhaya, former Vice-Chancellor and President of Scientific and Environmental Research Institute, Kolkata during the 4th International Conference on ‘Environment Ecology’ held at Guwahati in Assam recently.
