City doctors present posters at international conference

Dr. Purnima Madhivanan, Dr. Raghavi Karnam and Dr. Devanshi Somaia of city-based Public Health Research Institute of India (PHRII) attended the international conference titled ‘Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH)’ at Los Angeles in USA recently. Dr. Raghavi Karnam presented a poster on ‘Survival challenges of female cancer survivors in Mysuru district, India: A Community Based Participatory Research Study.’ This year’s CUGH with the theme ‘Global Health Without Borders: Acting for Impact’ attracted over 1,500 scientists, students and leaders of various NGOs.
