The Rotary International Board of Directors in their Board meeting at Chicago recently honoured Dr. K. Ravi Appaji, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Madikeri and Past Governor, Rotary International, with the ‘Service Above Self” Award in recognition of his long term service activities. The plaque of the highest individual award given to a Rotarian in the world was presented to him by Past RI Director Panduranga Setty at Chennai Rotary Institute on Oct. 6.
