Sir, The interior roads of Vijayanagar to the west of Kodava Samaja are in real bad condition. Some of these roads are extensively used by school-going children who are exposed to traffic hazards. Our repeated requests in this regard to the authorities concerned have not yielded any positive results. Added to this problem is the rampant footpath encroachments in the area which the authorities have failed to remove in the interior and on main roads also.
