Articulate Dance Fest held

A group photo of the artistes who performed at the Articulate Festival held at Premier Convention Hall in Premier Studios, Jayalakshmipuram recently. The evening began with a Pushpanjali and Ganesha sthuthi in Bharathanatyam style by R. Bhanupriya, disciple of Guru Revathi Narasimhan, Bengaluru. The second segment of the festival was Bharathanatyam by Kolkata-based Manojit Saha. Naina Shastri of California, USA, who took the stage in the third slot of the series, chose to perform two compositions that is not normally seen in a Bharathanatyam - Margam. The concluding performance was by Gowrisankar Thripathy of Orissa who presented Odissi.
