Used plastic covers, leftover food and other wastes, which are dumped on the 5th Main Road near Chandrakala Hospital in Jayalakshmipuram, is causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents as foul smell is emanating from it besides being an eyesore in the locality. Residents said that though there is a garbage bin nearby, people from nearby shops throw wastes here besides using the place to attend nature’s call. Authorities concerned are urged to get the garbage cleared at the earliest and impose penalty on those found dumping wastes in public places.
