Aashianaa, an institute for special children situated at Udayagiri, observed World Autism Awareness Day and Annual Day recently at Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club which was attended by dignitaries, guests, family members of the children and well-wishers. Hemamalini Jairam, Director, WeCAN, Chennai, spoke on Autism and its awareness. The parents, teachers and children presented various entertainment programmes on the occasion, according to Siraj Asger Ali, President “Aashianaa.”
