An uncovered water sump located at the park at HPO RMS Layout in Shakthinagar is posing as a ‘Death Hole’ to park goers. Even though the uncovered sump is about 10 ft. away from the flag post, which was used to hoist the Tricolour on Independence Day last month, the ‘Death Hole’ has gone unnoticed. As this is one of the biggest parks in the locality, it is frequented by many including elderly people and children for walk and play. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the sump covered at the earliest for the benefit of all.
