The following individuals / institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the adoption fee: Meghana Manjunath, Bengaluru - White Peacock & Indian Flapshell Turtle (Rs. 5,500); Dr. Hemath Pandarpurkar, Bengaluru - Small Indian Civet (Rs. 5,000); Himathram, Mysuru - Hoolock Gibbon (Rs. 10,000); H.R. Basavaraju, Bangalore - Leopard Cat (Rs. 5,000); J. Likitha, Mysuru - Star Tortoise (Rs. 2,000), according to a press release from the Zoo Executive Director.
