Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a youth was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided head on with a canter near Manti on KRS Road in the outskirts of the city yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh (21), son of Mahendra, a resident of Moganahalli (Manti) on KRS Road. Rakesh, an employee of J.K. Tyres, was travelling on his motorcycle from Pump House to his village at about 4 pm on Monday, when the collision took place. Rakesh, who sustained serious injuries in the mishap, was rushed to K.R. Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The KRS Police have registered a case in this regard.
