As part of International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations, all schools across the State have been instructed to perform Yoga on June 21 by the Samagra Shikshana-Karnataka. A circular has been sent to all schools to perform yoga on June 21 and share the event’s photo before June 25.

The District Deputy Director of Public Instructions (DDPI) should ensure that the BEOs of respective blocks inform all the school heads to arrange for yoga demonstration. Also, the venue must have drinking water facility and cleanliness must be maintained. On that day, children and their parents must be apprised on the importance of performing yoga and hence, Mysuru District DDPI H.K. Pandu has instructed all the Government, Aided and Unaided Schools to celebrate IDY on June 21.
