As part of World Women’s Heart Day, the Cardiological Society of India, Mysore Chapter, has organised a public health awareness programme on the topic ‘Prevention of heart disease in women’ on Feb.17 (Sunday) at the Platinum Jubilee auditorium, JK Grounds. The event will start with an ethnic Walkathon at 8 am from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple and ends at JK Grounds. The public awareness programme will be held from 9.30 am to 11 am followed by cultural programmes, according to a press release.
