The District Health & Family Welfare Department will observe World Tuberculosis Day at a programme to take place at MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds premises at 10 am on Mar. 24. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the programme. CM Siddaramaiah and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will be the guests of honour. MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Earlier, a rally will be taken out from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at Palace North Gate to J.K. Grounds at 8 am. Senior Civil Judge B.G. Dinesh, who is also the Member-Secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), will flag off the rally.
