Prakrutim Rakshamah, city-based people’s movement, has organised the observation of World Sparrow Day at 7 pm today (Mar. 20) at Royal Mart premises on Male Mahadeshwara Road in Nazarbad. Ornithologist Praveen, film actor Pavan Tej, Royal Mart Chief Manager Nawaz and former Corporator M.K. Shankar will be the guests. While a short film on the importance of conserving the sparrows will be screened, the dignitaries will speak on the subject and how every aspect of nature is crucial for our survival, according to a press release from Prakrutim Rakshamah Convenor V.
