Marking World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, the Palliative Care Centre (SVYM venture) and MMC&RI, will take out a rally tomorrow (Oct.12) from ED Hospital on KRS road at 8.45am. It will pass through Sanjeevini Circle and Kumbarakoppal, before culminating at PKTB&CD Hospital on KRS road. District Surgeon Dr. B. Basavaraj will flag off the rally with the theme ‘My Care, My Right’. Stage programme will take place at Kuvempu auditorium in PKTB at 10.30am. DHO Dr. Venkatesh, PKTB Medical Superintendent Dr.H.M. Virupaksha and retired Psychologist from Bengaluru Dr. Srinivas Murthy will be chief guests.
