Mysuru: World Autism Awareness Day-2018 was held by Aashianaa (an Institute for special children) on Apr.2. Dr. Venkateshan, Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), who was the guest of honour, spoke on Autism and later conducted a marathon session on autism to the parents of the wards of Aashianaa as to how to deal and cope up with the various day-to-day problems encountered with their children. The students of Aashianaa presented a colourful programme on the occasion.
