Mysuru: The Family Planning Association of India, Mysuru Branch -ULBA Hospital and Rotary Ivory City, Mysuru conducted World AIDS Day Programme along with Cauvery College of Nursing, Mysuru and Vidya Vikas College, at FPA premises on Dec.1. The Day started with a rally, followed by a street play and an awareness programme which was inaugurated by Shobha Nagaraj, Community Service Director, Rotary Ivory City. D.S. Shashikumar, Hon. Secretary, FPA India, Mysuru, presided. Shakuntala Babu of Rotary Ivory City, Prof. Krishna, HoD, Vidya Vikas, Bannur Road, Jai Santhosh Naik, faculty of Vidya Vikas, Nikki, Faculty of Cauvery College of Nursing, were present. Resource person Dr. S.S. Malini spoke on HIV/AIDS and its transmission, symptoms.
