Marking the occasion of Radio Kisan Day, Prasar Bharati - India’s Public Service Broadcaster, Akashvani and Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) have jointly organised a workshop on ‘Agriculture Tourism’ at Kaveri auditorium in KSOU premises, Mukthagangothri campus in city tomorrow (Feb. 15) from 10 am to 5.30 pm. KSOU VC Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse will inaugurate. Akashvani Mysuru Assistant Director S.S. Umesh will preside. National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management Director Dr. K.C. Gummagolmath will be the main speaker. Tourism Department Joint Director M.K. Savitha, A.S. Mahesh of Ammana Prakruthi Madilu, Mannina Mane, Ammaghatta, Gubbi taluk, Tumakuru district and Srivathsa Govindaraju of Chiguru Exospace in Singadasanahalli, Magadi taluk of Ramanagar district will present papers at the programme.
