Mysuru: Strongly condemning increasing atrocities and violence against women, Karnataka State Women’s Commission Chairperson K.G. Nagalakshmi Bai has urged women folk to resist any atrocities and injustice with unity.
She was speaking after inaugurating ‘Janapada Siri’, a folk event organised by Women and Child Dasara Sub-Committee as part of Dasara festivities at J.K. Grounds here this morning. Pointing out that folklore is an integral part of our culture, she urged the authorities to take appropriate measures for promoting folk arts.
