Bengaluru: In a significant move, the State Government has notified an order allowing its women employees to avail 180-day Child Care Leave. Any female Government employee is now entitled for Child Care Leave till her youngest child reaches the age of 18 years, irrespective of her total number of children.
State Government’s Finance Department Deputy Secretary B.S. Suvarna in an order issued yesterday stated that women Government servants can now avail leave of a total 730 days during their entire period of service to take care of differently-abled or specially-abled children.
