A woman, who was being treated at a private hospital for injuries sustained in a road mishap on Krishnaraja Boulevard on Thursday afternoon, breathed her last later in the evening. The deceased, a native of Kempanapalya in Kollegal, who was staying at her son’s house in Bogadi, has been identified as Kempadevamma (45).
It is reported that Kempadevamma, who was travelling on Krishnaraja Boulevard on a bike (KA-10 J-8819) with her son Kumaraswamy, sustained injuries when the bike was hit by a Scorpio (KA-09 N-5171) near Kautilya Circle following which she had been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. K.R. Traffic Police have registered a case.
