Woman ends life in city

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old working woman ended her life by hanging self at her Paying Guest (PG) accommodation near Trinetra Circle at Mahadeshwara extension in city yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Sunanda, daughter of Lingaraju of Shankanapura in Kollegal taluk. Sunanda, an MBA graduate, who worked at a firm on Contour road in Gokulam is said to have returned from her office yesterday afternoon and committed suicide by hanging self from the ceiling fan at her room. The incident came to light when the PG owner who knocked the door of the room at about 6.30pm, did not get any response, it is learnt. Sunanda is said to have left behind a suicide note which reportedly said that no one was responsible for her extreme step. Vijayanagar Police, who visited the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to MMC& RI mortuary.
