Woman ends life

Hunsur: In a tragic incident, a newly married woman committed suicide by hanging self at her parents’ residence near Karnakuppe gate close to Hanagudu in the taluk this morning. The deceased has been identified as Asha (24), wife of one Shivamurthy. Asha, who was married to Shivamurthy of Beeregowdanahundi in Nanjangud taluk about five months ago is said to have taken this extreme step when her parents were away on work. Asha, who was said to be depressed as her husband had not turned up for many days, has left behind a suicide note, it is learnt. Hunsur Rural Police have registered a case in this regard.
