Mysuru, Sept.1 (PM&KS)- A woman, who had gone to bring green grass for her cattle, was electrocuted after she stepped on a live power line at a banana plantation in Varuna village in the taluk on Saturday. The deceased is Gowramma (60), wife of Rajashekar Aradhya of the village. A case has been registered at Varuna Police Station in this regard. Meanwhile, the villagers have alleged that though they are requesting CESC officials to change the power lines since four years, the officials have not responded and added that if the power lines were changed such an incident would not have occurred.
