In the light of this another shocking incident in our city, where the Wipro Lighting Unit has pulled down shutters rendering the employees jobless is indeed a sad occasion.
The employees condemning the sudden closure resorted to a strike, here yesterday. They gathered in front of the unit and charged that Wipro Lighting Unit that produces thousands of bulbs and has earned a good name in the country for its quality products, had suddenly closed the unit.
