Mysore/Mysuru: Two students pursuing 3rd Semester MBA Corporate Finance (now named as MBA in Financial Management) at JSS Centre for Management Studies (JSSCMS), JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, who participated in two separate paper presentation competitions, have bagged prizes.
B. Avinash, a 3rd Sem MBA Corporate Finance student, participated in a National Level online paper presentation competition organised by Department of MBA, St. Joseph's Engineering College, Mangaluru and bagged first place and cash prize. He presented a paper titled, “Dividend Trends in NSE-100 Companies; Sector wise Analysis” under the guidance of Dr. Savitha G.Lakkkol, Associate Professor, JSSCMS. Syed Nihaz Ur Rehaman, a 3rd Sem MBA Corporate Finance student participated in National Research paper presentation competition “Connaissance”, organised by School of Business and Management, Christ University, Bengaluru. Under the guidance of Dr. Savitha G.Lakkol, Rehaman prepared a paper titled, “Customer Perception on Bank Mergers,” won 2nd place and a cash prize.
