The NIE Hockey Men’s Team won the VTU Inter-Collegiate Mysuru Zone Hockey Championships 2019-20 organised by NIE-IT, Mysuru, on Apr.15.

Somanna, Shubham Singh, K.P. Bopanna, B.K. Sawan Somaiah and P.M. Jishnu. In the finals, NIE beat CIT, Ponnampet (3-0). Shubham Singh, Somanna and Bopanna scored a goal each for the winner. Earlier, the Tournament was inaugurated by V.M. Chathura, former National Hockey player, in the presence of Dr. N.V. Archana, Principal, NIE-IT.
