The students of Seshadripuram Degree College won Overall Championship in weightlifting at Mysuru City Inter-Collegiate Weightlifting and Best Physique Championship 2022-23 which was jointly organised by JSS Science and Technology University and Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering on June 9. The winners in different categories are as follows:
• S. Jeevan won silver medal in 145 kg weightlifting category; • K. Abhishek, having a total body mass of 63 kg, won silver medal in 141 kg weightlifting category; • H.C. Dhanush, having a total body mass of 67.10 kg, won bronze medal in 141 kg weightlifting category; • Deekshith Gowda, having a total body mass of 81.60 kg, won silver medal in 155 kg weightlifting category; • L. Varshith, having a total body mass of 89.60 kg, won gold medal in 175 kg weightlifting category; • Romario Richard Titus, having a total body mass of 98 kg, won gold medal in 165 kg weightlifting category; • Vaishak Shetty, having a total body mass of 107 kg, won bronze medal in 104 kg weightlifting category; • Ganesh Surya, having a total body mass of 130 kg, won bronze medal in 131 kg weightlifting category.
