Chamarajanagar: More than 150 bird species were spotted at the Seventh Edition of State-level Bird Festival (Hakki Habba) that concluded at BRT (Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Temple) Sanctuary. The three-day festival, jointly organised by Forest Department, Eco-Tourism Development Board and Jungle Lodges and Resorts, concluded last evening.

Interestingly, the brand ambassador of the festival Rufous-bellied Eagle was spotted. The rare bird was sighted by the team led by Ornithologist S. Subramanya and Chief Conservator of Forests Manoj Kumar.
