Mysuru: Science Ashram conducted a competition titled ‘Tinkering Challenge-2017’ for students across Mysuru and Bengaluru. Tinkering Challenge was a programme designed for students of Grade V- VIII with an intent to create awareness concerning social issues and hone the problem-solving skills of students. Science Ashram Tinkering lab provides a conducive environment for kids to build projects and encourages innovation.
The programme was conducted in three stages. About 12,500 students from 40 schools participated in the first stage. 600 students qualified for the second stage wherein students were given a case study to solve the problem of ‘Traffic congestion’.
