Mysuru: A week-long weightlifting performance enhancement camp was held at Seshadripuram Degree College in city recently.
The camp was jointly organised by the Mysore District Weightlifting Association and Seshadripuram Degree College to provide an impetus to students who are interested in weightlifting and desire to fore in global competitions.
Commonwealth Games medalist and NIS Coach Pushparaj trained seven girls and eight boys during the week-long camp.
Mysore Weightlifting Association Hon. President Dr. K. Sowmya Erappa, President B. Sadhashiva Bhat, Treasurer K.L. Ashwini, Secretary P.R. Gurumurthy Bhat, Executive Committee Members Subhashini Harish and S. Arun were present.
